The new drama"CityOnFire", developed by Gossip Girl co-creators JoshSchwartz and StephanieSavage on AppleTV+, is scheduled to air on May 12. The eight-episode series will update three episodes in its premiere week and one episode every Friday, ending on June 16.This is the first project that Josh and Stephanie have previously signed a priority cooperation agreement with the streaming media. Like Gossip Girl, the story is also adapted from a novel of the same name. GarthRiskHallberg's novel tells the story of the shooting of a young girl"SamanthaCicciaro" in New York's Central Park on July 4, 2003, when everyone was watching fireworks, so there were no witnesses and not much physical evidence.Before the incident, she was watching her friend's band perform at her favorite nightclub. She temporarily went out to meet her friends but never came back.
